Romanian Bank increases its applications efficency with 50%

The IT department within the Romanian Bank is of great importance, with a valuable contribution for the entire business. The department has a team of more than 50 people that offer complete maintenance services and other like development, testing help desk, etc. Even since 2015, the IT department has begun a development process of the new data center architecture held and operated internally by the bank, to answer fast and efficient to a multitude of requests.

Romanian Bank decided to start an upgrade process of the entire data center infrastructure and the expansion of virtualization solution usage, to allow the maximization of the hardware resources utilization simultaneously with cost reduction for these reserves. After the market analysis, the IT department has identified Cisco Unified Computing Systems servers (UCS) as being the capable solution to cover both now and later development requirements.
Datanet was committed because of the experience the company has in the data center infrastructure area, being the main Cisco partner in Romania, with advanced competences in the server and storage and networking areas who could deliver an end-to-end solution.

"The new architecture model developed and implemented by Datanet Systems simplifies infrastructure management and resource allocation dynamically, improving the operational efficiency of the IT department."
