Innovation and Security in Future Networks presented in Datanet Event

Bucharest, 21 September 2006 – In 21st of September Datanet Systems organized in Bucharest at Crowne Plaza Hotel a conference dedicated to „Innovation and Security in the Tomorrow's Networks”, when presented some of the modern implementations techniques and support for communication networks. More then 100 participants assisted to very interesting presentations sustained by guest speakers from Cisco Systems, Romtelecom, Raiffeisen Bank, Orange, and Datanet Systems specialists.
 

Gabriel Musat – General Manager at Datanet Systems, showed the companies’ commitment for innovations and the last financials figures. Also was presented the technical resources and employees’ certification and new competencies achieved and the next two years development targets.

The solution portfolio for integrated data/ voice/ video communication was presented by Dragos Stroescu – Sales Manager and Liviu Gheorghe – Technical Manager Datanet. The speakers demonstrated the main benefits offered by these solutions to end-users from various industries as banking, telco, government and small & business organizations: new services provided by communication network, enhancement of productivity, faster implementation, scalability and availability.

 

Using Cisco solutions implemented by Cisco Professional Services and Datanet, Romtelecom has developed a comprehensive services portfolio for Corporate Business Continuity, VPN, and Internet, presented by Victor Voicu - Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Romtelecom. Strategic importance of innovations for banking systems was showed by Calin Rangu – IT&C Officer at Raiffeisen Bank, which stated that each banking service provided by Raiffeisen is based on a reliable communication technology and a comprehensive management system. Razvan Nicolescu - Network Architecture Manager at Orange showed Orange’s strategy for integrated services developed in IP VPN networks based on MPLS technologies. The innovation and good partnership relation high significance for Cisco was stated by Bogdan Constantinescu - General Manager Cisco România and Moldavian Republic, followed by Tariq Ahmed - Business Development Manager at Cisco Systems which showed an analysis concerning the evolution of end-users requests, and security in enterprise market. In the same Cisco session, Igor Sikorski - Business Development Manager presented „Unified IP Communication – new source of corporate savings”, demonstrating the business benefits of Cisco’s IP communication unified systems.
